The top border on Los Vaqueros        The Cowboys was created by overlaying and inverting a single image of a cactus from the dessert near Oaxaca, Mexico.  The bottom border is composed of photographs taken on a Sunday near the Oaxaca market.  I want to illustrate that the cowboy look is not a parody of the old west, but another connection to home.
