"Nepal & Tibet: The People Who Live In Shangri-La" is the title of Simone's latest exhibit (12/2001-3/2002).  That link (left) will lead to a complete selection of exhibit images.  Translations of original poems by MANJUL are being completed.

Project Nepal is a collaboration between Susan Simone (photographer) and Manjul (poet).  The project began in the spring of 2000 while Simone was living in Khathmandu.  Manjul, known for the poetry he wrote and recited in the hill villages of Nepal during the democracy struggle, collaborated with Simone to once again take up the voice of the people of Nepal in struggle.
